D5 Render 1.9 released

CG news Dimension 5’s D5 Render 1.9 features a new physical sky system, Geo & Sky, allowing scenes to be automatically lit according to a given latitude and time of day in the real world.
The update also includes new double-sided foliage material and the ability to customise the colours of the three-dimensional plants. More than 412 plants have now been added to the accompanying resource libraries.
In addition, there are new controls for point light sources, spotlights and emitting materials, as well as many performance and workflow improvements.
D5 Render 1.9 is available for Windows 10. It requires the current generation Nvidia RTX GPU or a compatible GeForce GTX card. A GeForce GTX 1060 or higher performance models is recommended.
The D5 conversion plugin for Max is compatible with 3ds Max 2017 and above. Other integrations include support for ArchiCAD 21 and above, Blender 2.82 and above, Revit 2017 and above, Rhino 6.5 and above and SketchUp 2017 and newer.
The software is free for personal and educational use. The cost of the Pro version is $480.
