WandaVision: before and after special effects

We continue to introduce you to the secrets of film production.

Today we decided to focus on the popular Marvel Studios mini-series, WandaVision.

Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series follows the events of Avengers: The Final Solution, released in 2019. Jacques Schaeffer was the executive producer and head writer, and Matt Scheckman was the director.

Interesting facts:

• The first trailer of the series garnered fifty-three million views in the first 24 hours. Thus, it set a record among all projects ever released on streaming services.
• The series had more visual effects footage than the 2,496 frames in Avengers: The Finale. Visual effects for WandaVision were created by Digital Domain, Framestore, Industrial Light & Magic, Lola VFX, Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies, Rise FX, Rodeo FX, SSVFX, The Yard VFX and Zoic Studios.
